Theharman kardon system in the 335 had much better, fuller bass as the sub was directly under the seat. Mercedes has the subs in the doors (at least for the coupe). It is more punchy, less boomy. I always felt the stock Harmon Kardon system had good enough speakers to where you could add a subwoofer and it would sound awesome. I am going HarmanKardon is an American speaker manufacturing company founded in 1953 by Sidney Harman and Benard Kardon. Harman Kardon designed some of the first high-quality audio products in the 1950s and is well remembered for introducing an AM/FM compact Hi-Fi receiver, Festival D1000, in 1955. TheHarmon Kardon was WAY better than the stock system, which sounded did sound a bit “tinny”. Only complaint of the Harmon Kardon, was it’s lack of deep bass that I got in the Rockford Fosgate, only because that system doesn’t have a subwoofer. The Rockford setup is ONLY a sub hooked to the base speakers, btw. Pretty good bass, bad low Hithere - first post! Recently, I bought a Harmon Kardon 330C as part of a vinyl system that I'm setting up for myself. I have the opportunity to buy MB Quart 280s for a little over a hundred, and am considering it. Not sure if it will work, though. The receiver outputs 20 watts per channel - and the MB Quart (from what I can tell) requires 20 Asa audio tech with over 40 years in sound technology , heres the lowdown. The so called 19 speaker 900 watt system is badly designed and all hype. All of the full range sound comes only from the dash speakers, these are cheap 3.5 inch units with the tweeters being controlled by a 5 cent capacitor. Discovera sound system that works as hard as you do, with Harman Kardon in the Ram 1500. An impressive array of 19 speakers and a 900-watt amplifier deliver powerful, all-encompassing sound that commands the attention of you and your passengers. Learn more about the RAM 1500 on RAM.com Ihave a Harmon Kardon receiver in my home theatre and I'm pretty sure that Logic 7 is a digital audio coding feature for surround sound that is proprietary to HK - so the Logic 7 is still a Harmon Kardon product. The old HK never was very good, it was late 90's technolgy, but even in the late 90's the Japanese where already producing Harman/ Kardon is known for its many technological innovations, and it wasn’t even frightened when quadrophonic sound first raised its head in the 1970s. When you stop to have a good look at the Harman Kardon 75+, the old truth comes to mind: in order to understand a country or a nation, one should not stare at what it says or thinks, but Vay Nhanh Fast Money.
